You should never forget to reset the drum on your Brother printer if you just installed a new one.
If you skip resetting, you will keep getting warnings like:
- Replace Drum
- Drum Stop
- Drum Near End
- Drum End Soon
- Replace Parts! Drum Unit and so on…..
But remember, you should never reset the existing drum / old drum on your Brother printer.
Doing so will reset the life counter of the old drum, and stops the printer from alerting you when it’s truly time to replace the drum.
With that said, let’s see how to reset drum on different models of Brother printer.
