How to Get Printer Ink Off Your Hands? 13 Proven Methods

Using the mixture of baking soda and lemon juice is the excellent way to get printer ink off your hands.

  • Go straight to your kitchen, make the paste and apply it to your skin.
  • Wait a few minutes, rub your hand and see the magic.

You may use scrub sponge, but please act gentle. You may hurt yourself.

Baking Soda and Lemon Method

Trust me, there’s no way the baking soda and lemon juice method won’t work.

I always use this method whenever I spill printer ink on my hands (mostly while checking the printer ink levels😁)

And it hasn’t disappointed me till date. But yes, remember one thing!

Always apply some skin moisturizer or baby lotion once you do it. Baking soda can make your hands dry.

Remove Ink With a Pumice Stone

Ever saw a small cute stone lying around the corner of your bathroom?

Yes, it is the pumice stone. Grab it and rub it against your hands. It also helps exfoliating the inky skin layer from your body.

I further recommend you dip your hands in warm water before using it, for easy ink removal.

Alcohol-based Cleansing Products

Similarly, you can also spray and rub some alcohol based hand sanitizer to remove the ink from your hands.

If unavailable, rubbing alcohol, or glass cleaner, also works.

Nail Polish Remover or Micellar Water

Taking Nail polish remover or micellar water and rubbing with paper towel is equally beneficial.

But let’s face it! It could be a bit of a hassle for single guys out there.😆

Mineral Turpentine Oil

Mineral turpentine oil also does magic when it comes to removing printer ink from your hands.

But they can be harsh on your skin. Plus, the strong bad smell, oh my god😣 So, act quickly.

Bleaching Liquid

In case of bleaching liquid, only use the dilute solution to clean your inky hands.

9 parts water and 1 part bleaching solution are generally preferred.

Some Other Products to Get Printer Ink Off Hands

If you have,

  • Tea tree oil
  • GOJO
  • Heavy duty grip clean hand soap or
  • Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, they also do wonders.

Conclusion

Now that you are here, I believe you have already decided between these 13 methods to remove printer ink from your hands.

Again, I must say, try the baking soda and lemon juice method to begin with. It won’t disappoint you.
