In this article, we’ll see how to connect WiFi on three different types of Brother printer.
- On touchscreen printers.
- On printers that have a WiFi button.
- All-in-one method to connect any Brother printer to WiFi.
Let’s get into the steps.
On Touchscreen Printers
- Open Settings and go to WiFi menu.
- Click Setup Wizard and select your preferred WiFi network.
- Enter the password for that WiFi network and click OK.
- Wait for a while until your printer gets connected to WiFi.
On Printers That Have a WiFi Button
- Press the Menu button. You’ll see this screen on your printer.
- Now with the help of Down button, navigate to Network and press OK.
- With the same Down button, go down to Setup Wizard > push the OK button.
- It will ask you WLAN Enable? Press the Up button to confirm.
- Then, you’ll see Searching SSID message on the screen.
- Choose your preferred network.
- After that, enter the password.
- Do note that it is quite hectic to enter password on this kind of printers as you have to do it only with the help of Up Arrow and Down Arrow buttons.

- Press OK once you are done.
- Your Brother printer will now get connected to WiFi.
All-in-one Method to Connect Any Brother Printer to WiFi
- Power on your printer and connect it to your PC using the provided USB cable. (USB connection is temporary. You can remove it once your printer connects to Wi-Fi)
- Also, make sure your computer is connected to the same WiFi network that you plan to use for your printer connection.
- Once you do it, go to this official website for Brother printer drivers.
- Search for your printer model.
- Select your OS family on the next screen.
- Click that Full Driver & Software Package link to download the driver.
- Confirm the download by agreeing to EULA terms and conditions.
- After the download finishes, open the .exe file.
- Keep following the on-screen instructions till you get here. Then, choose Wireless > Next.
- Proceed with the Peer-to-Peer option.
- Once you come to this window, choose Yes, I have a….. as shown in the image below.
- Check and confirmed on the next screen.
- The setup will now ask if you would like to connect to the same wireless network your PC is connected to.
- Confirm it by clicking Yes > Next.
- Wait till the connection establishes.
Yay!!! That’s all. Your Brother printer is now connected to WiFi.
