  • Unused pages are lost after canceling the account. So, I recommend you use all the pages before cancellation.
  • Some plans may have additional fees if canceled before a year. So, check the details about it before you proceed with cancellation.
  • After cancellation, you must switch to regular ink cartridges from HP. You cannot print further using those old Instant Ink cartridges.
  • Instant Ink cartridges only work with printers where they get installed for the first time. You cannot use it with other printers.
  • Once you cancel the service, you should return those cartridges to HP – either mail them or drop them off at an HP collection center. It’s your choice.

  6. On the next screen, scroll down and you will find Plan Details section.
  7. Continue with “Cancel my HP Instant Ink Subscription” link.
  8. Check any reason why you are cancelling the service.
  9. Click the Continue Cancellation button.
  10. Agree with the terms and conditions at the end.
  11. Click Complete Cancellation.
  12. If asked, open your email and confirm the cancellation. That’s all.

Note: The interface of the website might slightly differ depending upon your country/region. But there should not be a problem finding the cancellation link.
